Doctor Referrals

GP referral letters are important documentation to facilitate access to specialist healthcare services for different purposes, including

- Specialist Consultation: Referral letters enable patients to see and consult with specialist doctors or healthcare providers for diagnosis and treatment.

- Diagnostic Tests: Some medical procedures or diagnostic tests require a referral from a GP before they can be arranged.

- Treatment Planning: Referral letters are very important for patients who need specific treatments or therapies which are only available via specialist care.

BOOK AN APPOINTMENT

If you require a referral to a specialist service, GPs at Gogodoc can provide you with a same-day referral following your initial consultation.

You can book a telephone or video consultation via the website for just £50. Following your consultation with the doctor, you will be invoiced £35 for the referral service, by email.

Once payment is received the referral letter will be emailed to you immediately. You can then take the referral letter to a private clinic, hospital or consultant of your choice*

What will you receive?

A referral letter with Gogodoc company headed paper, the doctors full name and GMC registration number

Your current medical condition and when symptoms started

Specialist or private healthcare required and urgency: Specify the specialist you require and the urgency of your need for consultation

Personal Information: Your name and date of birth

Contact Information: Access to Gogodoc Clinic's contact details for further support and inquiries if needed

Doctor Prescriptions

Following your consultation with the GP, if a prescription has been issued, you will be required to send a copy of photo Identification, either a passport or driving license. This can be emailed to hi@gogodoc.com.

You will then receive an email from Signature RX with a unique dispensing ID code. You can show this email to any major pharmacy and collect your medication.

Please note that if your appointment is in the evening, then a same day prescription service cannot always be guaranteed and will be arranged the following morning.
